About Us
Family owned since 1976, our farm has alot to offer small and large gatherings. With it's rustic country charm, we cater to every budget. We've hosted weddings, reunions, holiday celebrations and live music events. The Colonel's Landing provides all the comfort of an indoor/outdoor lifestyle with our open plan cabin and the lure of boundless southern landscapes. We're located just 10 minutes from Main Street Water Valley and only 35 minutes from downtown Oxford.
our STORY
The late Colonel Lloyd F. White purchased farm land west of Water Valley in 1972 from the Ware family after retiring from the U.S. Air Force. He built a lake and cabin and planted a large peach orchard. He named the farm: "Colonel's Landing".
The Landing was passed down to Colonel's grandson, Lloyd Caulfield, who is the current owner. Colonel's Landing holds an impressive amount of childhood memories for Lloyd and we hope many more will be created for each guest!
